Autumn/Winter 2018 starts with a collaboration. A shared creativity between ALL AT SEA and Parisian based design studio No More Mondays.
Together with Creative Director Torunn Myklebust the brand has created an abstract and graphic interpretation of the classic ALL AT SEA Wave Print. With fluid shapes and bold colours the print is a nod to the psychedelic movement of the late sixties. No More Mondays has worked with a range of international fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Roberto Cavalli and Givenchy.
The print is available in three colour combinations and marks the starting point for the complete AW18 collection. A journey through a dreamy and surreal landscape of playful shapes and vibrant colour schemes.
“Torunn is a long time friend and the collaboration has challenged our creative process and opened up new ways of working with large scale prints.” – Benjamin Monrad, Creative Director
Autumn/Winter 2018 marks another big first for ALL AT SEA. The brand is introducing its first ever womenswear capsule collection. The pieces are a reflection of the ALL AT SEA DNA, playing with prints, pure silk and strong silhouettes. The collection includes a classic shirt, a pair of pyjamas inspired trousers and a maxi shirt dress. All in a selection of signature and seasonal prints.
“The decision to design for women felt like a natural evolution. Through the past couple of seasons we’ve experienced an increasing demand for womenswear.”
ALL AT SEA’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection also features new hero pieces such as an atelier blazer, a sportswear inspired anorak and a classic men’ s shirt. The AW18 campaign is shot by Philip Messmann, art directed by Simon B. Mørch and styled by Oliver Fussing.
